JESSICA ROST
is a Director and Co Founder of Festive Road. As a solo artist, Jessica has exhibited her work and taken part in many international residencies and workshops. See her work here. She directed and co-produced our touring show ‘Brewing Up’ which has been awarded the London 2012 Inspire Mark. Jessica is a sculptor, carnival designer, performance artist and successful Fundraiser. She writes stories and a blog, keeps chickens and grows her own veg. She has a studio at Westbury Farm Studios and is Artistic Director of Milton Keynes Festival Fringe.
SIMON TIPPING
is a Director and Co Founder of Festive Road. Trained as a ceramicist, he has exhibited his work internationally and taken part in many residencies and workshops. He is a Project Manager at Festive Road and manages our logistics. He is also an Arts Consultant with an interest in reviving cultural and celebratory traditions from around the world… onto a street near you! Simon is also founder and lead facilitator of Tea Breaks, Festive Road´s corporate offer, Tea Breaks. He has a diverse range of skills from basketry, Art performance and sculpture to cooking and brewing.
PAUL SMITH
is a Director and Co Founder of Festive Road. He is the company’s Treasurer and Resource Manager and has pioneered our recycling policy. Originally specialising in printmaking, his practice has developed to incorporate a multi-disciplined approach, working 3-dimensionally and site specifically in wood, willow, concrete and recycled materials, integrating painting and printmaking techniques. Paul has extensive workshop experience working in all educational settings, with particular interest in special needs and under 5´s groups and with community bodies on projects, events and festivals.
SIMON OLDHAMS
is Festive Road’s Professor Crackpot in charge of contraptions, doodads and widgets. He is a singer, song writer, music producer and costume maker. Simon creates special effects in sound, light and multimedia and has worked in film and television production. He has previous experience of organising festivals and managing live music stages and now has a new home with Festive Road. He has been spearheading our `Green Science´ projects and has built bicycle generators and wind turbines with schools. You can see more of his work here.
ANITA ALLEN
provides administrative support for Festive Road. She has a great deal of previous experience fundraising and setting up administration and financial systems. She also supports the Milton Keynes Festival Fringe and her work for FringeMK was commended by Arts Council England.
